Due to a poor harvest, cultists from a remote island of old England kidnap a girl named Jennifer Richardson (Elen Rhys) — the daughter of a famous rich man — in order to get a ransom for her. In search of the kidnapped girl, her brother Thomas (Dan Stevens), whom everyone has long believed dead, goes.
